Expert wrappers of Impressive Wraps have done a lot of wonderful things with the Mercedes G-Class, and some not very wonderful things. The latest G-Wagen to get a treatment is this Sky Blue Mercedes G63 AMG and it is sort of in between. We don’t know if we love it or hate it.

This color seems to be in these days, as every car maker is either adding it to their palette, or updating their existing blues to look like it. And each one calls it something different. Porsche calls theirs Miami Blue, and BMW Yas Marina Blue. IW simply calls it Sky Blue, and we think their take on it is one of the best on account of it being a glossy finish.

Impressive Wrap’s Sky Blue Mercedes G63 AMG may look to some as a G-Wagen suited for the ladies since it’s a light and cheerful color, and that takes away from the natural aggressiveness of the SUV’s macho design. Then again, some may say bull to that, and argue that it is perfectly normal for guys to drive a car this color. Lamborghini is making cars in this shade of blue these days, and they are like the most macho car maker around.
