The popularity of camo wraps is rising and each day we see a new and creative design. Arctic camouflage is one of the more popular themes for supercars, as they are sort of urban cool what with the unique colors and patterns. This Audi R8 spotted in Netherlands is rocking one such wrap.

It is a rather appropriate treatment, because if any supercar is capable of dealing with snow and ice without falling into pieces, it’s the four-wheel-drive Audi R8. This car is the V8 version which has a 4.2 liter TFSI unit with 420 horsepower and the ability to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 second.

Thanks to the super sophisticated Quattro all-wheel-drive system, Audi R8 can do that kind of speed virtually everywhere. The system also gives you confidence and security to push the car beyond the limits of your own driving skills. Some say it is somewhat boring because of that – because it’s not scary – which is of course not a logical argument.

Chances are the owner of this camo’d R8 is never going on an expedition to the Poles. He might hit a ski slope now and then though, where he will look super cool in his unique Audi.
